Why is our movement important?
By letting women and poorer people go to school, it helps us also diminish other problems like poverty by having educated people get better payed jobs, and other problems like climate change, by understanding the problems that we face and help solve them, together. If children and teenagers get the education that they need, it could help solve some of the 17 problems by the U.N (United Nations). Education is very under looked at and the education that the students need helps them to have a better life and is what they fairly deserve; no child should suffer under the pressure of their future because they cannot get good education.
School gives enjoyment to children of any age though it can be hard; they have friends their to support them which people's support for education purposes very important in any child's life. Friends at school can help build their self-esteem and social skills, which can be very important for many different things in the future including school speeches and job interviews, which a good education can provide for them. Poverty can be a big problem in the education system; In Africa due to the lack of education they have there and teachers due to the poverty that happens there, there are 80 students for just 1 teacher, that would be very stressful for the teacher to manage all the students; and the teachers do not even get paid well for the amount of students they are managing.
Women's or young girls education is very important due to the lack of gender equality that happens in the education system. Examples, in these countries it can be extremely hard for women to get the education they need; India, Cambodia (Southeast Asia), Nepal (Asia), Afghanistan (Central Asia), Chad (Central Africa), Papua New Guinea, Haiti (Caribbean Sea), Egypt (Africa) and Guatemala (Central America) and so on. Gender equality is one of the 17 problems that is wanted to be solved by 2030 by the U.N (United Nations) and is also (from the information we have gathered) is a big problem in the education system and needs to be fixed; Considering that a lot of people still think that women are expected to 'make men a sandwich in the kitchen.' and that is unbelievably stupid. Women need education and rights as much as Men do.
Quality education for equality and poverty needs, has to be looked at and solved.
